Hairdressing Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3)

You will help with the running of salons by shampooing, conditioning, drying, cutting and colouring hair. You will learn how to deal with customers, so good communication skills are important. Promotion opportunities exist to become a senior stylist or salon manager.
Content
There is an option when doing hairdressing that on completion you can then do the barbering qualification, but this would be a full cost recovery course.

The course content will give a basic underpinning knowledge of the main areas of work expected within a salon and a solid foundation on which to progress to management, teaching or assessing qualifications.
Entry Requirements
Level 2 Hairdressing/Barbering qualification
OR
Minimum 5 GCSEs at grade C or above or equivalent, one being English or Maths
Employment in a salon will be needed to study an apprenticeship in Hairdressing, we may be able to suggest employers to help you secure a place.
Progression Opportunities
Promotion opportunities exist to become a senior stylist or salon manager.
