An apprenticeship in IT covers the broad spectrum of IT careers on offer in the workplace. It will give the foundation to become an IT Technician, Network Engineer, Software Developer, Web Developer and more. The skills you learn, both in the workplace or at college, will give a foundation for your career in this growing industry.
Content
This apprenticeship is aimed at the technical side of IT and allows you to understand the principles and then put them into practice. It also includes Cisco vendor qualifications that allow for apprentices to begin the path to accreditation.
The course will allow for the development of your skills to follow along these career paths and to develop your customer skills, presentation skills and to become an IT professional within their organisation.

This apprenticeship is a one day a week day release and lasts up to two years.
Entry Requirements
You are expected to have a basic knowledge and aptitude for IT and the equivalent of 4 GCSEs at grade C or appropriate work experience.
