How to Apply
Many of our courses are very popular and you are strongly advised to apply in good time.
Step 1Choose your course. Collect as much information as you can on all of the options available to you to help you decide:
- Read the College prospectus
- Visit our website www.loucoll.ac.uk
- Ask the Student Access Centre for detailed course information on 0845 166 2950
- Speak to your careers teacher or Connexions advisers
- Arrange for a free, independent, information and advice interview at the college
- Attend careers conventions
- Come along to one of our open days
- Speak to your parents, friends and past or present students
- Check your eligibility for financial support
Step 2
Apply for your course
Fill in the application form in the centre of this prospectus and send it to: The Student Access Centre, Loughborough College, Radmoor Road, Loughborough, Leicestershire, LE11 3BT
The application form is also available on our website and printed copies are available on request from the Student Access Centre on 0845 166 2950. We will send you acknowledgement of your application within five working days.
Step 3
Interview or Open Day
We will invite you to attend an informal interview and/or open day where you will be able to discuss all aspects of the course you have chosen and any alternatives that you may still be considering (this step does not apply to international students).
Step 4
Your Offer
Shortly after your interview you may be sent a letter offering you either:
A conditional offer of a place at Loughborough College stating the exam results you need in order to qualify entry onto the course that you have applied for
OR
An unconditional offer of a place at Loughborough College.
If you are not offered a place, you will be advised who to contact to discuss your options.
Step 5
Agree the offer
You complete an ‘Agreement of Offer’ form and return it to the college to accept your offer of a place.
