I'm Leaving School
Loughborough College offers an extensive range of courses from A Levels, to Vocational Qualifications, to Apprenticeships, all in a variety of different subjects, and a number of learning styles.
If you are aged between 16-18 and looking to move from school into a more adult learning environment then Loughborough College may be the place for you!
A Levels
AS and A Level qualifications offer you the chance to study the subjects that really interest you, in detail. Most students will take four subjects at AS Level (although it is possible to study five), taking three of these on to full A Levels in year two.
Where Next?
A Levels are well regarded by universities and employers and will therefore enable you to progress onto degree level courses or, alternatively, move straight into employment.
Vocational Qualifications
In addition to A Levels, we also offer various vocational qualifications in a variety of subjects and levels. These courses are work-related qualifications which provide you with the skills you need to progress within a specific industry.
Where Next?
Progression routes differ depending on each individual level and course (see individual course pages for progression information), these mainly include progressing onto a higher level qualification within your chosen area or moving into employment.
Loughborough College also offers a number of higher education courses in certain vocational areas, allowing you to study as far as degree level.
Apprenticeships
We also offer a number of apprenticeships; for more details on these go to the apprenticeship page.
