GCSE Results Up On Last Year
24/08/10Loughborough College students this morning picked up their GCSE results in a year where pass rates have reached record highs.
There was cause to smile at the College as 98% of the 196 students who sat exams over the summer gained pass grades. This is a 0.3% increase on last year’s results.
The number of pupils who gained grades A-C rose by an impressive 2% to 56% on those attained last year.
Pupils can also be pleased that average grades rose to their highest for more than five years with a CD average gained.
