Bus Passes
Loughborough College are now offering ‘Term Time Bus Passes’ to students for the one off fee of £99.
To qualify for this great offer you must live further than three miles from Loughborough College and be under the age of 19 at the start of your full-time course.
This is a huge reduction on last year’s bus pass charge of £180 - Now you can do the course you need to achieve without worrying about expensive travel costs.
Applications for bus passes are usually sent to students after interview, or can be downloaded from around June 2012. Second year students forms must be collected before the end of the summer term. Applications should be returned as soon as possible.
Vehicle Permits
Everyone Bringing a vehicle onto college campus must have a vehicle permit.
Students must be living outside of the LE11 post code to be eligible for a vehicle permit.
Staff and student permits are £50 for the coming year, although the penalty charges remain the same at £25.00.
The new 12/13 permits will be available from September 1st.
Second car charge is £20. Lost, stolen or damaged permits replacement costs are £5.00

Bursary Fund
Households on low income may be able to apply to the 16-18 Bursary Fund / Discretionary Adult Learner Support Fund if financial assistance is needed towards travel costs. Contact studentfinance@loucoll.ac.uk for an application pack.

Traveline on 0871 200 22 33 will give information on bus companies, routes and timetable information.
What if I've lost my travel pass?
Call into Admissions if you have lost your travel pass. You will need to complete a reprint form. The first time you lose your pass you will be charged £5.00. If you lose it a second time, the fee for a reprint is £10.00. If you lose your pass a third time you will be asked to pay £25. No more passes will be reprinted if you lose it a fourth time and you will be responsible for your travel costs for the remainder of the year.
