About the employer

Brunts Farmhouse Day Nursery

Brunts is a rural private day nursery situated in the village of Long Clawson in the Vale of Belvoir. Our aim is to establish an extended family atmosphere and provide the children with a caring, happy and secure environment where they can grow and learn. Brunts opened in September 1990 and is a purpose built, self contained building. The nursery comprises of four main group rooms, a baby unit and activity room, a story room and a secure walled outdoor play area. We make full use of the village by taking the children for walks, visiting the mobile library van and the village store. We also have visits from people in and around the community. The nursery provides each child with play and learning experiences that are unique to their own development and interests. The children’s play is offered indoors and out and they have free flow access to supervised play whatever the weather. All activities offered meet the requirements of EYFS. We have a committed team of staff who have a wide range of childcare qualifications and experience.
