Apprenticeship summary

As part of the Waiting team your duties will include, but not limited to:

  • To greet all guests in a warm and courteous manner and to ensure that their needs are met
  • To take guest orders and serve them promptly and efficiently in line with the food and beverage departments standards
  • Serve food and drink in line with company standards
  • To set up the restaurant, banqueting, bars and meeting rooms as per the departments’ standards
  • Prepare for lunches and dinners and set up for breakfast to the required standards
  • Comply with Health and Safety regulations
  • To comply with all food and beverage legislation and licensing laws
  • Have a friendly, bubbly personality and provide an efficient food and drink service to all guests and visitors to the hotel
  • Immaculately presented
  • Can work effectively both as part of a team and independently
  • Must be 18 to work in the bars
  • Hours of work will vary depending on the need of the business, working 5 days out of 7, including weekends

Food and Beverage Apprentice to work within our Garden room restaurant, banqueting, Garden Terrace and function bars.

We are seeking a confident individuals who want to progress into the hospitality industry as a Waiter/Waitress.  Working as part of our Food & Beverage team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining an atmosphere conducive to comfortable dining and providing excellent customer service at all times.

Working Week: Days: Full time (5 days out of 7) TBC Times: Hours to suit the business TBC Breaks: 30 Minutes Annual holidays: 20 days plus 8 Bank Holidays
