This is a great opportunity to join our Estates team as an apprentice, ensuring that Rushcliffe Care Group premises are safe, secure, and well maintained. The postholder will complete the Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative apprenticeship while starting a career in building and facilities maintenance.
- Carrying out day-to-day maintenance tasks across the site, including basic plumbing, electrical work, decorating, and general repairs.
- Completing regular safety, compliance, and equipment checks, keeping accurate records, and supporting audits.
- Working with contractors, colleagues, and the apprenticeship programme to develop skills and ensure maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard.
Requirements and prospects
A full UK driving licence is essential, as the role may require travel between sites. You will also be working in a care environment, so it is important to be approachable, respectful, and comfortable working around vulnerable adults.
