An engineering apprenticeship can lead you to many possibilities, working in a vast range of environments.
This engineering apprenticeship allows you to gain advanced experience within the trade while also earning a wage. Progression opportunities after completion may include undertaking a Higher Education engineering course.
We currently offer engineering frameworks in:
- Engineering Maintenance and Installation
- Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering
- Fabrication and Welding
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- Engineering Technical Support
This programme includes carrying out fault diagnosis and maintenance activities on equipment
This programme includes using and interpreting engineering data and operating CNC machines
This programme includes fabrication and welding, manual welding techniques, thermal cutting techniques, and understanding computer aided design (CAD)
This programme combines the skills and knowledge needed to work effectively in a range of electrical and electronic engineering activities – you will develop skills and competencies relating to your specific role, which could include an electronics assembly technician or an electronics manufacture inspector.
This programme includes engineering drawing, quality control, computer control programming, and integrated business operational support

Complete an intermediate apprenticeship OR five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above in English, Maths, and a science-related subject.
The apprenticeship course is part time to fit around your work commitments. You may be required to attend college on a day release, or your tutor will visit you in the workplace.
You will have the opportunity to progress to Higher Education such as HNC or HND.
