This apprenticeship will broaden your existing knowledge and help you to gain important leadership and management skills, allowing you to take on more responsibility.

There are two pathways for you to choose from, allowing you to tailor your learning experience to your desired future career. Choose from Professional Cookery or Hospitality Supervision and Leadership.

Course Content

There are two pathways on the Advanced Apprenticeship for you to select from:

Professional Cookery

This Apprenticeship builds on your existing knowledge and skills and cover more advanced techniques for preparing and cooking more complex dishes alongside learning more about sourcing produce and product development. Jobs at this level can include sous chef or senior cook.

Hospitality Supervision and Leadership

This pathway will enable you to get ahead in your hospitality career by broadening your existing knowledge and help you gain important leadership and management skills to allow you to take on more responsibility.

Entry Requirements

There is a requirement to have a previous Level 2 qualification in hospitality for this apprenticeship framework. Before you can start an apprenticeship, you need to be in employment. The course start dates are flexible to fit around your employer.

Progression Opportunities

Depending on your chosen pathway you could gain employment as a Sous Chef or Senior Cook, or in Leadership and Management within Hospitality and Catering.

Mode of Attendance:
The Apprenticeship course is part time to fit around your work commitments, you may be required to attend college on a day release or your tutor will visit you in the work place.


Level:
Intermediate and Advanced Apprenticeships available.
