This 9 - 12 month course aims to develop a first line manager's skills by introducing effective management skills and assisting participants in gaining the basic knowledge required by a manager. Subjects covered include an introduction to leadership styles and behaviours, developing yourself and others, problem solving and effective decision making, innovation and change management, effective communication skills, leading and motivating a team effectively and managing conflict.Modules
