This apprenticeship covers the movement and storage of goods and is an essential part of logistics operations. You will be assessed on both knowledge gained throughout the course and also your competence in your working environment.
You will learn the essential skills in loading, unloading and storing goods within a warehouse setting. This may include how to safely store and retrieve good from high spaces, and how to quickly and efficiently load objects of different shapes and sizes.

There are no specific entry conditions for this apprenticeship framework; however, many employers require good (A*–C) GCSE passes in English and Maths.
Before you can start an apprenticeship, you need to be in employment. The course start dates are flexible to fit around your employer.
The apprenticeship course is part-time to fit around your work commitments. You may be required to attend college on a day release, or your tutor will visit you in the workplace.
Students can progress on to the Advanced Apprenticeship in Management or into more senior roles such as a team leader.
