This programme aims to develop your knowledge and experience of travel and tourism, both in terms of its theory and practice.

It will teach you everything you need to know about being a cabin crew member, from greeting customers to emergency procedures, giving you a better chance of gaining employment in this exciting industry. Our Level 3 course will offer practical pathways and progression into UCAS, which will be discussed further at interview. All students who complete the course are guaranteed an interview with Servisair.

You will be taught through a series of workshops, guest speakers and visits. you will work in group, pairs and independently, contributing to seminars and presentations to demonstrate what you have learnt.

A variety of methods are used to assess your progress including examination, individual and group presentations, case studies, assignments, projects, work based assignments, developing learning resources, and display work. You will achieve a Pass, Merit or Distinction grade for each module according to how well you cover the learning outcomes specified.

The Cabin Crew qualification provides training and a better chance of gaining employment in this very exciting and growing industry . It will teach you everything you need to know about being a cabin crew member from meet and greet to emergency procedures .

Loughborough College Travel team have strong industry links including East Midlands Airport, and anyone who completes the course is guaranteed an interview with Servisair.

It shows the airline that you understand the role of the crew member and can already perform many of the duties involved. It provides an opportunity to gain skills, knowledge and understanding of the industry.

Entry Requirements

Four GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including either English or Maths OR Level 2 qualification in Travel and/or Aviation.

Progression Opportunities

Progression opportunities include working at an airport or cabin crew if over 18 or studying an extended diploma in Travel and Tourism
