CIM Introductory Certificate in Marketing (Level 3)

If you work in marketing, or you're looking to start your career then this Introductory Certificate in Marketing is the ideal way to learn more about what marketing is and how to approach working in a marketing role.

Developing skills and knowledge through this internationally recognised qualification will help with career progression and you could take on a role as Marketing Assistant (£20,000*) and, with experience, advance to managerial roles (Marketing Manager - £40,000*).

The aim of the CIM Level 3 Foundation Certificate in Marketing is to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and understanding to perform professionally in a support-level marketing role.

Entry Requirements

It is not necessary to have any previous experience or knowledge of marketing. We do ask that if English is not your first language, you provide us with evidence that you have achieved – within the last 2 years – either an IELTS Academic Module with an overall score of 6.5 (each component pass being at 6.0 or above) or the Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English at grade B or above.

Additional fees are payable:

  • £55 CIM membership fees
  • £100 assessment fees (per module)

Progression Opportunities

Having completed your CIM Introductory Certificate In Marketing you will be able to take your qualification with you into employment. This qualification gives you the practical skills and knowledge to work in a marketing environment, and is highly valued by employers.

      Once you have successfully completed this Level 3 Certificate you will be eligible to complete your CIM qualifications with the Professional Certificate in Marketing (Level 4)
