The CMI Level 3 Team Leader / Supervisor Apprenticeship is aimed at new and aspiring managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders, Project Officers, Shift Supervisors and Shift Managers.
Candidates should be used to the responsibility for managing a team,
planning and monitoring workloads, delivering operational plans, resolving
problems, and building relationships internally and externally.
To complete this CMI Level 3 Diploma in Management, candidates will receive regular performance reviews and workplace visits throughout the apprenticeship and be expected to develop a portfolio of evidence and to attend monthly training sessions.
The 18 month programme is ideal for those who have responsibility over the activities, output and performance of a team, or are getting started in a new role. Candidates will be able to develop their management and leadership qualities through prestigious qualifications from the CMI.
Our Team Leader/Supervisor programme is designed to improve operational output by providing participants with the toolkit they need to become effective leaders. Throughout the delegates will gain an in-depth understanding of what is expected of a manager, and will develop a portfolio of essential management skills such as:
• Managing overall team performance
• Effective communication
• Chairing and leading meetings
• Understanding the principles of people management
• Implementing change within a business
The programme is delivered 1 day per month and will include assignments, work based company projects and self-study.
First line managers from public, private & third sectors in all sizes of organisation. Eg:
Forepersons and Shift Managers
Typically five GCSEs at Grade C or higher
