Jobs, apprenticeships, training and further study were all on offer to hundreds of students at Loughborough College’s biggest ever Employability Fair today.

Marking National Apprenticeship Week and Careers Week 2018 the packed event saw employers, services and education providers from across the region on the lookout for talent to fill live vacancies and on hand to offer specialist advice on next steps and opportunities.

Young people studying at sixth form and degree level at Loughborough College got the chance to meet representatives from a range of industries and public services including engineering, telecoms, aviation, health care, logistics, accountancy and tutoring.

“It was wonderful to welcome so many employers, service and education providers and to introduce our students to the enormous range of opportunities they had to offer,” said Andrew Spencer, Careers Coordinator at Loughborough College.

“This was our biggest employability event ever and it was fantastic to see so many students so inspired.”
