Loughborough College continued to build on its international partnerships and boost opportunities for students and staff recently when it welcomed a delegation representing more than ten nations.

Education specialists from Nepal, China, Spain, Hungary, Czech Republic, Turkey, the Middle East, Russia, Germany and Kazakhstan were greeted by Director of Business Development Gemma Knott and Head of International Mark Henebury, together with the College’s International team.

“We were delighted to welcome the group to Loughborough College and they were extremely impressed with our courses, facilities and accommodation,” said Mark.

“We are building on the College’s strong legacy of working internationally, with our partnerships enabling students and staff to benefit from a fantastic range of opportunities. Over the past year alone we’ve visited and been developing projects with Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Qatar and Bangladesh.

“Following the recent visit to the College, which we set up jointly with English UK, we are thrilled to have been invited to St Petersburg to talk about what’s on offer for students there who are interested in A-levels, international foundation and undergraduate degree programmes.

“We are also very excited to be looking at a potential partnership with a college in Nepal which could lead to staff and student exchanges.”
