Three A grades and film making degree spot for Loughborough College student

When Loughborough College student Caitlin Battle opened her A-level results on camera for BBC TV she admits she did a double take when she discovered the piece of paper in her hand revealed three A grades.

“It will be memorable enough that I did that while being filmed but when I saw the grades I was shocked. I was predicted Bs in English Language, Psychology and Media so to see A A A - that really exceeded my expectations. I am very happy. And ironically I am now going to study film making.

“I really enjoyed my two years at Loughborough College and I’ve got no doubt that my confidence in interviews for university was boosted by the support I’ve had there - and the knowledge I’ve gained. The College helped me every step of the way and I will miss it. But I can’t wait to begin my degree at Nottingham Trent University.”
