Loughborough College Beauty students have been enjoying a training boost from worldwide beauty brand Clarins.
The group spent a day with the French luxury skin care, cosmetics and perfume company, getting hands on with a range of treatments at their city centre spa in Leicester.
“It was fantastic for the students to be working one on one with therapists from such a high-profile brand and to be given the opportunity to become familiar with so many treatments and products.
“They received demonstrations from the beauty staff and also carried out their own hand and arm and over clothes back massages as well as leg treatments.
“To do all this while at the heart of a working spa gave them a real insight into the expectations for professional therapists,” said Claire Springthorpe, beauty programme lead at Loughborough College.
“It was a brilliant day for the group and certainly inspirational – two of the students have already applied to become technicians with Clarins”.
