Apprenticeship summary


  • Providing a professional environment for visitors to Pepceuticals. Greeting visitors and preparing for meetings
  • Ensuring that reception is kept tidy and welcoming at all times. Taking calls making sure that they’re answered quickly, efficiently, and in a friendly professional manner
  • Assist with requesting quotes and placing orders and be responsible for accepting and processing all deliveries
  • Maintaining accurate records for usage of chemicals and consumables
  • Maintain security by following procedures for visitors, deliveries and access to controlled areas

Admin Assistant Duties:

  • Regular checking of the kitchens, bathrooms and toilets to ensure they are in good condition
  • Regular checking of meeting rooms to ensure that they are of a high standard ready for any meetings
  • Maintaining Outlook calendars for meetings and recurring activities
  • Responsible for setting up before and clearing up after meetings
  • Preparing samples for shipping, arranging couriers and franking post, ensuring that the accurate records are retained and the post book is completed with details
  • Maintain stock levels for chemicals and consumables
  • Keeping our databases up to date
  • Regular maintenance and filing of documents
  • Assisting with the control of quality system documents and records
  • Assisting with internal audits
  • To perform secretarial functions, including drafting and typing letters, memos and other documents
  • Ad hoc administrative support to other teams as required
  • To uphold confidentiality at all times regarding Pepceuticals clients and business

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Have good attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • An ability to prioritise, plan and organise work whilst in a busy environment.
  • An understanding of health and safety issues in the workplace
