Enterprise

Enterprise
& Innovation

The first floor of the Careers & Enterprise Hub is a dedicated Enterprise and Innovation space, supported by Loughborough University’s business Incubator, LU Inc.

Our mission is to nurture emerging ambitious businesses, bringing together founders from across the region and beyond to create a rich, vibrant and supportive start-up community. We aim to develop a new generation of businesses rooted in Loughborough and more resilient to future challenges. We do this by providing the training, resources and connections you need to establish, grow and succeed. Here’s how we could help you:

Meetups, Events
and Training

We regularly bring together aspiring business founders through a variety of training, meetups and mentoring with the purpose of exploring, testing and progressing ideas. Search through our upcoming events here.

LU Inc. Wayfinder
Business Startup Accelerator Programme

The LU Inc. Wayfinder Programme is designed to help early-stage business founders in the region. We’re seeking individuals from the region working on new, early-stage products or services with lots of potential. We’ll help by providing a 6-month programme of support including:

  • Coaching - guidance on how to rapidly test new ideas and set up and grow new business ventures
  • Training – expert-led workshops and virtual resources designed to help you develop all elements of your business, from business modelling to finance to marketing
  • Connections – signposting and support to access networks across the region to progress your business idea
  • Workspace - access to flexible shared office space in Loughborough Town Centre
  • Funding – the potential to access funding toward follow on workspace (post-programme)

To participate, we’ll ask you to complete a short application form, then have an initial discussion with us. If selected for the programme, you’ll be invited to join a cohort of fellow business founders. If not selected, we’ll still help you to identify suitable alternative support.
