Pay: £10.85 - £13.70 per hour (dependant on age, experience and qualification)
Expected hours: 40 per week (worked over 4 or 5 days)

Job Description

Due to exciting expansion, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate qualified Early Years Educator to 
Join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and 
stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through interest-led, 
engaging activities and personalised care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your skills 
within a rural-based, vibrant early childhood education setting. The position is suitable for individuals 
committed to fostering positive, exciting learning experiences for children aged from 9 months to 5 
years.
Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, 
emotional and physical development. We follow in the moment planning and the curiosity 
approach.
• Supervise children during playtime, meals, rest periods, and activities to ensure safety at all times 
times.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment in line with health and safety 
regulations.
• Support children's individual learning needs through personalised care plans and observations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop programme improvements and share best practices in 
early childhood education.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behaviour, and

• Enjoy outdoor interaction. We are based in the countryside, and the majority of our nursery day 
is spent outdoors in our garden, fields, on our bus or in our allotment.
• Ensure compliance with all childcare legislation, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to create engaging activities that stimulate learning and development.
• Full and relevant level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (verified against the government 
qualification checker). Level 2 will also be considered.
• Undertake an enhanced DBS check
• Valid driving licence
A caring attitude, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with children and 
families.
