NeoTimber are seeking a pro-active Business Development Representative to join our fast-growing sales department. The successful candidate will play an important role in developing new business opportunities for NeoTimber, while nurturing and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will work alongside lead generators within the company to generate interest and awareness for NeoTimber’s products and ultimately drive sales within the B2B segment of the business. A proactive outbound approach will be vital to allow you to generate your own leads from a wide range of channels.

The ideal candidate:
You will have at least 2-years sales experience, be a natural communicator and have a drive to generate new business opportunities. We are searching for someone with a proven record in customer-facing roles, excellent communication skills and a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets. Please Note:
You will have a database of enquiries, and your role will be to build strong relationships with those clients. You will be a person who is enthusiastic and highly self-motivated, who understands the importance of following up with clients to maintain our important customer relationships.
Main Duties

• Outbound Lead Generation: Identify and prospect potential customers through research, cold calling, email campaigns, and other outreach methods.
• Pipeline Development: Create, manage, and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
• Cold Calling and Outreach: Conduct a high volume of outbound calls and emails daily to generate interest and schedule meetings.
• Market Research: Research and understand target markets, industries, and key decision-makers.
• CRM Management: Accurately track and update all lead and prospect interactions in the CRM system.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective outreach strategies and align efforts.
• Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs, including calls, emails, and qualified leads generated.
• Relationship Building: Nurture prospects through tailored communication and follow-ups to build strong relationships.
 

Skills and Qualifications required

• Proven experience in a similar outbound-focused sales or business development role (2-3 years preferred).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in cold calling and email outreach.
• Highly proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce, Hub Spot, or similar platforms.
• Ability to research and understand different markets and industries.
• Resilience and determination to overcome objections and challenges.
• A results-oriented mind-set with a focus on achieving measurable goals
 

Hours per week

Full time role. Hours are 9-5pm. We are flexible and you can work 8.30am - 4.30pm
