We are seeking a reliable and motivated stock person to join a progressive farming operation in Nottinghamshire, near Colston Bassett and Saxelbye, near Melton Mowbray.

The role is primarily focused on a 1,000 head beef finishing unit, with additional seasonal arable responsibilities and occasional support within our 2,000 pig enterprise.

Key responsibilities

- Daily care and management of beef cattle (finishing cattle aged 12 months - 2 years)

- Feeding livestock and monitoring health performance

- Bedding down and maintaining clean, comfortable housing

- Mucking out and general yard duties

- Operating tractors and farm machinery

Secondary Responsibilities

- Grain carting during harvest

- Silage carting throughout summer months

- Occasional assistance with a 2,000 head pig enterprise when required
