Loughborough College Athletics Academy has developed a new exciting 16-18 athletics programme. Loughborough College Athletics Academy has fantastic working relationships with Loughborough Students Athletics Club, Loughborough University and British Athletics.

the training

Loughborough College Athletics Academy will coordinate your training requirements working alongside Loughborough Students Athletics Club to ensure you access the correct training group to improve your performance.

Training schedules will be monitored by the Loughborough College Athletics Academy coordinator to ensure there is no overload to training schedules.

Athletes will also have a group strength & conditioning session once a week.

There are also various workshops that happen throughout the year on nutrition, psychology, anti-doping and athletes lifestyle.

There will be opportunities to compete in a range of competitions as part of the Loughborough College Athletics Academy and Charnwood Athletics Club, however there is no requirement to compete in any competitions as part of the Academy and athletes are able to continue to compete for their current athletics club.
