Engineering Courses

The demand for high-level engineers will provide you with the opportunity to work globally with excellent career and salary potential. Our Engineering courses are designed in partnership with employers to ensure our students gain the specialist skills, knowledge and techniques needed to be successful in their chosen career.

During your Engineering programme, you will have access to high specification laboratories and state-of-the-art equipment, such as:

  • High specification jet engines
  • Electronic testing devices including programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
  • Laboratory facilities

Need to study a particular module or specialism?

We also offer the option to study individual modules from our HNC/HND courses.

This can be done to enhance your specialist knowledge or for continued professional development in a chosen area.

  • HNC/D Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ) in Computing (Network Engineering Pathway)

    This course is a full-time HNC programme studied over one year with the option to progress to the HND the following year. The HTQ will enable you to develop a range of specialist skills to meet the demands of employers in this fast-growing sector. Our HNC/Ds in Engineering allow you to study either full-time or part-time (evening options available) providing you with the specialist knowledge and skills required to work towards a degree in Engineering and a career in the industry. Upon successful completion of the HND you will have the opportunity to gain a full honours degree via a 'Top-Up' Course.
