Liverpool FC Academy
Exclusive Work Experience at Liverpool FC Academy.
Over three weeks, degree level students studying for their Higher National Certificate and Diploma (HNC/D) actively coached and officiated at a series of youth tournaments in an exciting opportunity provided by the Higher Education Academy of Sport.
Students supported event logistics, led engaging warm-up activities, and officiated matches involving more than schools across Merseyside.
Opportunities like these provide learners with invaluable, real-world experience that enhances their employability skills.

International recognition.
Tyler successfully completed his HND Level 5 in Sport with us, demonstrating an exceptional ability to balance academic achievement with a demanding football schedule. Throughout his time at the college, Tyler trained full-time and maintained a regular place in non-league football, representing clubs such as Weymouth FC and Poole Town FC.
His dedication and consistency on the pitch have also earned him international recognition. Tyler has proudly represented his country on 28 occasions, scoring 4 goals—a remarkable achievement that highlights his talent and determination.
Tyler’s journey is a standout example of how our programme supports student-athletes in pursuing both academic and sporting excellence. We’re proud to have supported his development and look forward to seeing what the future holds for him.

Young Player of the Year.
George’s football journey began with us, where his talent, work ethic, and determination quickly set him apart. His dedication earned him a trial at Bolton Wanderers Football Club, and in 2020, he was rewarded with a professional contract — a testament to his hard work and potential.
In 2021, George’s performances were recognised when he was named Bolton Wanderers’ Young Player of the Year. Since then, he has gone from strength to strength, making over 150 appearances for the club across League One and League Two. George continues to grow as a player and is widely regarded as one of the club’s most promising talents.
We are incredibly proud to have been part of George’s journey and look forward to watching his bright future unfold.
