Our Childcare courses are designed to ensure students have the skills and knowledge needed to progress in to an apprenticeship, go on to university or work in a range of childcare and education settings. Students learn from passionate and experienced Lecturers taking part in a range of practical and theory-based lessons. Courses are enriched with visits from guest speakers, trips and work experience placements.

    Looking after both babies and children of school age, duties include teaching basic social skills, dressing, feeding, bathing, play activities, and developing reading and writing skills.

    Early Years Teacher
    £28,000 - £38,810

    Your duties will include supporting the development and education of young children, making sure that they are safe, well cared for, and have opportunities to experience a wide range of stimulating and educational activities.

    Nursery Manager
    £23,000 – £45,000

    You will oversee the running of the nursery, supporting and developing the nursery team, keeping records and building relationships with parents, carers, schools and childcare professionals.
