  • Women and Girls Football Development Officer (Apprenticeship)

    £8,080 - £16,180 per annum (Temporary - Full Time)

    Loughborough College are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Women’s & Girls Football Development Officer (Apprenticeship) to join the Sport department. This role will involve assisting with tasks and initiatives to grow the number of women and girls participating in football as well as the increasing and improving the workforce and officials associated with women’s football.

    The Women’s & Girls Football Apprentice will need to possess a level 1 coaching qualification complimented by having experience in coaching young people in either sport (football desirable) or any physical activity. This role will involve working with a variety of people so it is essential that the successful candidate has great relationship building skills and excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

    This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about Sport and Football in particular. The Football Development Officer will have an opportunity to really put forward ideas and initiatives which will make a vital difference and increase the number of women and girls in football.

    The position will be required to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship as part of their role and in partnership with the Football Association (The FA) and English Colleges Football Association (ECFA).

    The successful candidate will be required to attend national training on the dates specified by the FA.

  • Teacher/Lecturer of Physics

    £19,609 - £24,505 per annum, plus discretionary £2,400 market supplement (Permanent - Part Time)

    We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, dynamic and committed teacher of Physics to teach on our A level programme.  It is an exciting time to join the College and we are looking for an exceptional individual to join our distinctive educational setting.  

     

    You will deliver inspiring teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed in Physics.  You will prepare and plan innovative and effective lessons, monitor the performance of students against Alps target grades and provide effective intervention strategies to ensure the success of all students.  You should also be able to contribute to the teaching of Physics on our International Foundation Programme and Cambridge Technical Lab Skills at Level 3.

     

    You will have relevant, successful experience of teaching both years of A Level Physics in a post-16 setting.  You must be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate students with varied teaching and learning strategies.  You should demonstrate outstanding practice regarding teaching and learning.  A relevant degree (or equivalent) and a teaching qualification are essential requirements for this post.

  • Senior Procurement & Compliance Officer

    £26,928 - £28,198 per annum (Permanent - Full Time)

    The Leicestershire College Procurement team is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join the newly formed collaborative team.

    We are looking for an individual who has extensive experience in procurement and experience of working with Public Procurement Regulations. This person will report to the Procurement Manager and will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operational management of the procurement function for the college.

  • Enrolment Officers

    £9.15 per hour (Casual Hours)

    The Leicestershire College is looking for reliable, enthusiastic staff to enrol students during the summer of 2019.

    Duties will include assisting in the welcoming and greeting of new students, checking forms and issuing car parking permits and student ID cards. Students will be enrolled using a computerised software system, so ensuring the accuracy of data is crucial. The successful candidates will also assist in other duties as required.

    You will be working up to 37.5 hours per week (flexible working between 8.00 am and 8.00 pm) from around 5th August until 27th September 2019.

    Training will be provided, however candidates must have good IT skills along with previous experience of working in a customer-orientated situation.  Excellent communication skills and numeracy (or experience of handling cash) are also essential requirements for this post.
