  • Trainer Assessor in Business and Marketing

    Salary: £13,575 – £15,833.50 per annum based on 0.5 of the FTE £27,150 - £31,667 (Permanent - Part Time)

    We are looking for an experienced Trainer / Assessor with relevant up to date industry experience and qualifications to work with commercial training contracts, CIM Apprentices and full cost students who are employed across our provision, ideally with knowledge and experience of marketing.  We require a Trainer Assessor who can make an immediate contribution to the team, as well as deliver a high level of service and support to our apprentices and employers.

    To be successful for this role you will have a relevant vocational qualification at level 5 or above, Ideally CIM qualified at level 6 or 7, you will have experience and knowledge of delivering apprenticeship standards in marketing, or equivalent relevant industry commercial experience in marketing.

    You will provide training sessions both in college and in the workplace to individuals or groups of learners and organise regular visits to assess apprentice progress in readiness for End Point Assessment.  You will also carry out progress reviews in the work place and work remotely using Microsoft teams, Zoom and Smart Assessor.  You will support with employer engagement and training progress in the workplace monitoring completion of set tasks to ensure appropriate progress is made in a timely manner.

  • Senior Procurement and Compliance Officer

    Salary: £34,145 per annum (Permanent - Full Time)

    The Leicestershire College is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join the collaborative procurement team.

    We are looking for an individual who has extensive experience in procurement and experience of working with Public Procurement Regulations. This person will report to the Vice Principal Finance & Infrastructure and will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operational management of the procurement function for the college.

  • H&S Officer and Primary First Aider

    Salary: £23,769 per annum (Permanent - Part Time)

    The Leicestershire College Health & Safety department is seeking an enthusiastic and flexible Primary First Aider/Health & Safety Officer to work as part of a small team.  

    On a day-to-day basis the successful candidate will be responsible for attending to requests for first aid assistance along with managing their Health & Safety tasks.

    The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a front line first aid role and/or a Health & safety role. They will be adaptable and able to respond quickly to a change in priorities as they transition between the Health & Safety part of their role into the first aid role.

    They will have a passion for Health & Safety and first aid and have some experience of teaching small groups or presenting, as delivering first aid at work training and refresher sessions will be a key part of the role.

    Please note we would be happy to consider applications for 30 hours per week.

  • Estates Maintenance Officer

    Salary: £23,769 per annum (Permanent - Full Time)

    We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Maintenance Officer to join our busy customer focused Estates department. You will support a proactive maintenance service which meets the needs of the college now and in the future, by being an innovate department in its approach to planned and reactive maintenance. You will be responsible for general maintenance supporting all aspects of the estates department to included campus, grounds, accommodation, security and helpdesk functions in line with KPIs’ and SLA’s set by the college.

Right to work in the UK

EU citizens arriving into the UK after the 1st January 2021 will need apply for a Tier 2 visa to gain right to work in the UK.

To be eligible to apply for a Tier 2 visa, the role advertised will need to have an educational standard of at least A levels and the salary for the role has to be a minimum of £25,600 unless in a shortage area i.e. STEM or if you have a PhD relating to the role.
