  • Employability Coordinator

    £27,150 per annum (Permanent - Full Time)

    The Leicestershire College’s Careers and Employability team are looking to appoint a new Employability Coordinator. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join a highly driven team who is continuing to expand its support learners.

    As an employability coordinator you will be undertaking a highly varied role, which can include completing business development, organising placements and delivering employability sessions to learners.

    You will have responsibility for a particular curriculum area, and have the opportunity to engage with both employers, learners and fellow college staff. The successful candidate will have an excellent ability to manage high caseloads and be driven in ensuring learners are supported into a positive destination.

    To be considered for this role, you should have a Level 3 in Award & Education training (formally PTTLLs Level 3) and have experience of working in an educational setting with young people. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

  • Apprenticeship and Business Development Manager

    £40,986 per annum (Permanent - Full Time)

    The Leicestershire College aims to provide an apprenticeship and education experience so positive its life shaping. We are seeking an experienced Apprenticeship Delivery Manager to plan and deliver our outstanding apprenticeship and work-based learning programmes. The post requires effective operational delivery of the current curriculum and the strategic development of future provision to support the rapid transition from framework to new apprenticeship standards, and the innovation, growth and expansion of apprenticeships across the region.

    You will be an experienced educational professional with a strong track record in successfully managing work-based programmes. With an unwavering focus on learners' progress and progression, you will have experience of motivating and managing staff to achieve an outstanding learner experience for all. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you will work collaboratively both within and across curriculum areas, together with the vision and drive to make a success of this demanding but rewarding role.

    The successful candidate will demonstrate significant skills, knowledge and behaviours linked to either Business or Service related industry, and experience of managing apprenticeship programmes from intermediate apprenticeships (Frameworks and Standards) up to and including Higher Level Apprenticeships. You will have a degree or equivalent, be educated to a Level 2 minimum in Maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent) and hold a Level 5 Teaching Qualification.
