  • Sessional Lecturer in HE Business and Management

    You will deliver inspiring teaching and learning to ensure all learners are supported to succeed in Business and Management.  Acting as a personal mentor and teacher to a variety of Higher Education groups, you will prepare and plan innovative and effective lessons, monitoring the performance of students against target grades and providing effective intervention strategies to ensure the success of all students.

    You will have relevant experience of teaching Degree level Business and Management subject areas and you must be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate students with varied teaching and learning strategies. A relevant Degree and a teaching qualification are essential requirements for this post.

  • Employability Coordinator

    £26,618 per annum (Permanent - Full Time)

    The Leicestershire College’s Careers and Employability team are looking to appoint two new Employability Coordinators. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join a highly driven team who is continuing to expand its support learners.

    As an employability coordinator you will be undertaking a highly varied role, which can include completing business development, organising placements and delivering employability sessions to learners.

    You will have responsibility for a particular curriculum area, and have the opportunity to engage with both employers, learners and fellow college staff. The successful candidate will have an excellent ability to manage high caseloads and be driven in ensuring learners are supported into a positive destination.

    To be considered for this role, you should have a Level 3 in Award & Education training (formally PTTLLs Level 3) and have experience of working in an educational setting with young people. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

  • Early years 1:1 support worker

    £9.93 per hour (Casual Hours)

    Radmoor Childcare are looking to appoint one to one support workers to work within our busy Holiday Club. This will involve providing one to one support and assistance for children with additional needs, between the ages of 4-11 years. You will be working during the school holiday periods, your hours will match the demands for our clients for this service. 

    The right candidates will be level three childcare qualified, enthusiastic, dedicated and have experience working as a SEN support worker. They will have an understanding of the SEN code of practice, EHCP’s, IEP’s and behaviour management strategies. The right candidate will have a caring and nurturing nature enabling them to support a child’s social and emotional well-being, their physical ability and have a drive to develop a child’s learning, development and experiences.

    We are looking for someone to support with the planning and delivery of high quality learning experiences working on a one to one basis, supporting a child, ensuring that activities are tailored to meet their individual needs and requirements.

    Helping children to become engaged, aiding their learning, in a safe, fun and stimulating environment.

    You may at times be faced with challenging, physical behaviour and will need the correct skills to intervene if needed.

    As part of this role, the candidates will require the ability to communicate effectively with outside organisations such as schools, health care professionals such as speech and language and with funding auditors.
