Job roles here at Loughborough College are responsible, on a regular basis, to teach, train, instruct and care for supervising children. You will be working on a regular basis with children and depending on your job role, engage in personal care or overnight activity. Pre-employment checks will be carried out for all employee’s including enhanced DBS checks.

  • Lecturer in Sport

    We have an exciting opportunity for an engaging, innovative and dynamic Lecturer to teach across our BTEC Sport provision at Loughborough College to our full time Sports students. You will teach and assess across a range of units to our learners and when required cover lessons too. 

    The successful candidate will deliver inspiring teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed through the delivery of high quality and challenging learning experiences. Progress will be monitored to ensure target grades are met and all learners achieve to the best of their ability.

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Restaurant lecturer in our sector leading Radmoor Restaurant. The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver across the full range of the department’s provision. You may currently be working in a hospitality education setting or in hospitality. You will have a passion for innovation, bringing new ideas and embedding new technologies into the learning environment. Working as part of our award-winning Hospitality and Catering team you will be responsible for the delivery and development of courses and day to day front of house duties. You will possess an excellent knowledge and understanding of the Hospitality industry and be able to plan and use a range of effective and appropriate teaching and learning techniques including digital teaching methods and teaching tools. 

Important Information

EU citizens arriving into the UK after the 1st January 2021 will need apply for a Tier 2 visa to gain right to work in the UK.

To be eligible to apply for a Tier 2 visa, the role advertised will need to have an educational standard of at least A levels and the salary for the role has to be a minimum of £25,600 unless in a shortage area i.e. STEM or if you have a PhD relating to the role.
