Job roles here at Loughborough College are responsible, on a regular basis, to teach, train, instruct and care for supervising children. You will be working on a regular basis with children and depending on your job role, engage in personal care or overnight activity.   • A-Level Economics Teacher

    We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Economics Teacher to join our Sixth Form team to teach A-Level Economics at Loughborough College.

  • Lecturer in Motor Vehicle

    Salary:£34,624 - £40,013 Per Annum
    Type:Permanent - Full Time
    Closing Date:Thursday, 8th May 2025

    Loughborough College Motor Vehicle is a successful curriculum team that offers a wide range of provision from Level 1 up to Level 3.  The provision includes both BTEC and IMI courses alongside employment focused study programmes. 

    We are seeking to appoint a Motor Vehicle Lecturer to teach within our Motor Vehicle/Motorsport provision.  Relevant automotive industry experience is essential and a teaching qualification is desirable.

  • Lecturer in Public Services

    Salary:£31,317 - £36,706 Per Annum
    Type:Permanent - Full Time

    Loughborough College Public Services is a successful curriculum team with over 250 learners, offering a wide range of BTEC provision from Level 1 up to Level 3. 

    We are seeking to appoint a full time Lecturer to teach within our Public Services provision starting in late August 25.  A relevant degree, teaching qualification and considerable knowledge of the public services area are essential, and you must have some teaching and vocational experience preferably in further education.

  • Learning Support Assistant

    Salary:£14,549.82 Per Annum (Based on FTE of £24,501 Per Annum)

    The Learning Support team are seeking to recruit Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), to join them in providing a range of high-quality support to learners with identified learning difficulties and/or disabilities across the working week, Monday – Friday 08:45 – 16:30.

    You will support learners across a range of courses from Entry level to Level 3 / A Level who have learning difficulties and disabilities. These include Dyslexia, Autism, ADHD, Hearing Impairments, Visual Impairments and Physical Impairments. The successful candidates will provide in-class support and online support to individuals and groups of learners, which includes notetaking, assisting with personal care and mobility support.  

Important Information

EU citizens arriving into the UK after the 1st January 2021 will need apply for a Tier 2 visa to gain right to work in the UK.

To be eligible to apply for a Tier 2 visa, the role advertised will need to have an educational standard of at least A levels and the salary for the role has to be a minimum of £25,600 unless in a shortage area i.e. STEM or if you have a PhD relating to the role.
