  • Sport WRL Deputy Manager

    £34,459 per annum (Permanent - Full Time)

    We are a highly successful College offering a wide range of provision from Level 1 to BSc Honours Degree Level.  We have new purpose-built facilities allowing us to offer courses based around the latest techniques and equipment required for industry demands.

    The Sport Work Related Learning Deputy Manager will be responsible for leadership of programme delivery for sport work related learning programmes, in particular the Diploma in Sporting Excellence programme, ensuring high quality of standards are achieved.

    The Sport Work Related Learning Deputy Manager will report to the Work Related Learning Manager and make a considerable contribution to the College’s aim of providing outstanding quality and responsiveness in teaching, learning and assessment. The post holder will have successful experience as a teacher/assessor and internal verification/Quality Assurance with wide knowledge and experience of planning, organising and delivering a diverse and creative curriculum. The Work Related Learning Deputy Manager will be able to confidently lead and manage the work of teams and individuals to meet challenging targets.

    The Deputy Manager will be a role model for outstanding teaching and learning and lead on developing tutors/staff and partners/subcontractors.

  • Trainer Assessor in Engineering

    £27,261 - £31,952 per annum (Permanent - Full Time)

    The Leicestershire College is looking for an experienced and flexible Engineering Assessor to join our apprenticeship team.

    This is a great opportunity for an experienced Engineering Trainer Assessor to work on a full time contract to carry out Training and Assessing duties for apprentices and their employers in workplace. 

    The ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:

    • Competency in the subject area

     • An appropriate Assessor qualification (D32/D33/A1/TAQA, or equivalent)

    • A qualification at a minimum Level 3 in the subject area

  • Trainer Assessor

    £16.01 per hour (Casual Hours)

    The Leicestershire College is looking to recruit a Sessional Trainer Assessor to join our Hospitality & Catering provision within the Apprenticeship team.

    We are looking for an experienced Trainer Assessor with relevant up to date industry experience and qualifications to work with Apprentices who are employed across the East Midlands area. We require a Trainer Assessors who can make an immediate contribution to the team, as well as deliver a high level of service and support to our apprentices and their employers.

    To be successful for this role you will have a relevant vocational qualification at level 3 or above, an assessor qualification and an IQA qualification. You should have experience of delivering training sessions to individuals or groups of learners and organising regular visits to assess apprentices. You will also carry out progress reviews in the work place, involving their employers in the apprenticeship programme and ensuring appropriate progress is made.

  • Early years 1:1 support worker

    £9.93 per hour (Casual Hours)

    Radmoor Childcare are looking to appoint one to one support workers to work within our busy Holiday Club. This will involve providing one to one support and assistance for children with additional needs, between the ages of 4-11 years. You will be working during the school holiday periods, your hours will match the demands for our clients for this service. 

    The right candidates will be level three childcare qualified, enthusiastic, dedicated and have experience working as a SEN support worker. They will have an understanding of the SEN code of practice, EHCP’s, IEP’s and behaviour management strategies. The right candidate will have a caring and nurturing nature enabling them to support a child’s social and emotional well-being, their physical ability and have a drive to develop a child’s learning, development and experiences.

    We are looking for someone to support with the planning and delivery of high quality learning experiences working on a one to one basis, supporting a child, ensuring that activities are tailored to meet their individual needs and requirements.

    Helping children to become engaged, aiding their learning, in a safe, fun and stimulating environment.

    You may at times be faced with challenging, physical behaviour and will need the correct skills to intervene if needed.

    As part of this role, the candidates will require the ability to communicate effectively with outside organisations such as schools, health care professionals such as speech and language and with funding auditors.
