  • FA Women's Football Development Officer Apprentice

    We are delighted to announce Loughborough College have been selected to be part of the FA Women's Football Apprentice programme and are now taking applications for the new role. We are looking to recruit a FA Women’s Football Development Officer (Apprentice) who will support the growth of numbers of females participating in football across our community to improve education, employment & health outcomes for young people.

    The programme has been designed by AoC Sport, the FA and the training will be delivered by Weston College, aligning with the FA's 2020-2024 women's strategy to grow the game and develop the future workforce.     Loughborough College Engineering is a highly successful team with over 200 full time learners.  The team offers a wide range of provision at levels 1 to 3.  Provision includes BTEC courses and employment focused study programmes. 

    We are seeking to appoint a full time Progress Tutor to support our learners to achieve their full potential and progress to their next steps.  A relevant vocational qualification and experience in an educational setting is essential.

    We are a highly successful College offering a wide range of provision from Level 1 to BSc Honours Degree Level.  We have new purpose-built facilities allowing us to offer courses based around the latest techniques and equipment required for industry demands. 

    We are seeking highly committed and motivated assessors to join the Elite Sport programme area. You will be required to assess and tutor elite sport learners, most notably as part of the Diploma in Sporting Excellence programme (was the Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence programme).

Right to work in the UK

EU citizens arriving into the UK after the 1st January 2021 will need apply for a Tier 2 visa to gain right to work in the UK.

To be eligible to apply for a Tier 2 visa, the role advertised will need to have an educational standard of at least A levels and the salary for the role has to be a minimum of £25,600 unless in a shortage area i.e. STEM or if you have a PhD relating to the role.
