Please visit the Loughborough Town Hall website for directions and parking. Please note there is no on-site parking at the Town Hall.

Loughborough is a busy market town and can become busy on certain days of the week. To avoid as much disruption to your travel plans as possible, we suggest you plan your visit in advance and have directions for several car parks in case your chosen car park is full.

FAQs

Should I book my place before I receive my results?

Yes, students should book their place as soon as possible. In the unlikely event that you are not able to graduate due to your results you will be issued with a refund, minus a small £3 admin fee.

How do I find Loughborough Town Hall?

The address is Loughborough Town Hall, Market Place, Loughborough, LE11 3EB. Directions can be found on the Loughborough Town Hall website.

How much will graduating cost?

Gown hire is £41 (which includes the mortar board and hood).
Photography packages start from £25 (optional).
Guest tickets £15 each. Please note - there is a maximum of two guest tickets per Graduand only. There is no cost for your individual ticket.

Is it possible to get any extra guest tickets?

Once Graduation booking has closed, any unsold remaining tickets will be released on a first come, first served basis. This will be communicated via an email to all Graduands who have booked onto Graduation.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive 90 minutes before your ceremony starts. This is to allow time to register, collect your gown and have your photos taken. If you arrive after this time you may be refused entry.

What happens on the day?

We have put together a handy Step-by-step Guide to help you navigate your special day. Take a look and feel free to share this with your family and friends.

Are there arrangements for access?

We ask that you let us know in advance of any access requirements you or your guests may have. You can do this by contacting us at graduation@loucoll.ac.uk. This includes prams and strollers.

Is photography allowed during the ceremony?

Yes.

Are there car parking facilities?

There are three main car parks within a short walking distance of the Town Hall. For further information, please visit the Loughborough Town Hall website.

If I don't attend the ceremony, how do I get my certificate?

If you are unable to attend the Graduation ceremony, your certificate will be posted out to you the address that we have on our student records database. For all queries, please contact studentregistry@loucoll.ac.uk.

What would happen if my ceremony was relocated, postponed or cancelled?

If Loughborough College Group graduation ceremonies needed to be postponed or relocated or cannot take place as planned due to circumstances beyond our control, we would notify all graduands at the earliest possible time by email and on our website.
We regret that Loughborough College Group cannot be held responsible for any loss or additional expense incurred by graduands or guests arising from the postponement, cancellation or relocation of its graduation ceremonies due to circumstances beyond the College's control. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, fire, flood, natural disaster, explosion, terrorist act (or threat of a terrorist act), epidemic or pandemic, period of national mourning, or dispute involving the graduation venue. Graduands and guests should ensure that they have adequate insurance protection to cover any losses which could be incurred in such circumstances including, but not limited to, travel and accommodation costs.
