The NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Travel and Tourism is a course designed
to teach you the practical skills and knowledge you will need for an exciting
career in the travel and tourism industry.
This course is the perfect
choice whether you are looking to immediately seek employment in
the
industry, or wanting to progress on to further study or Higher Education.
On this course you will develop an indepth knowledge and understanding of the
travel and tourism industry as a whole, while also learning a range of
transferrable industry-skills that will help you in whichever career path you
choose to take.
Through a combination of mandatory and optional modules, you will be able to
develop a broad range of skills to support your career
aspirations.
You will also
complete a practical work experience placement, to further develop your
knowledge and skills. As part of the course you will also gain a NCFE Level 2
qualification in Cabin Crew, which is taught by industry experts and will form
half a day a week of your timetable.
Additionally,
there will be talks from travel professionals, which will include ex-students
and the opportunity to participate in visits to tourism destinations and
organisations.

- The UK Conference and Events Industry
- Storytelling for Tourism
Additionalities:
- NCFE Level 2 Introduction to Cabin Crew
Successful completion of the 1st year will qualify learners with the NCFE
Level 3 Certificate in Travel with Cabin Crew and allow you to progress to
Year 2, where you can achieve the NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Travel &
Tourism with English Speaking Board.

- Unit 17 The cruise industry
- Unit 11 Marketing for Travel and Tourism

Additionalities:
At least 4 GCSEs at grade 4 and above, one of which must include GCSE English
Language or GCSE Mathematics
At the end of
the first year you can choose to progress to the second year Diploma course, an
alternative course or apply for an Apprenticeship.
