Level 3 Results Day 2026 – Hear From our Students!

Congratulations to all our Level 3 students who received their results across our four campuses!

We’re proud to share some of their inspiring stories below — hear first-hand about their experiences studying at Loughborough College Group, their reactions to their results, and the exciting next steps they’re taking in their journeys.

Brooksby College student Rowan received a Distinction in his Carpentry and Joinery T Level course.

Currently in full-time work with a company that builds timber playgrounds, Rowan’s long-term goal is to start his own business. Looking ahead, Rowan said: “both my qualification and the grade I’ve achieved leaves the option of University open. I’ve had a great experience on the course and I’m really happy that I followed my passion for Carpentry and Joinery. The T Level was perfectly suited to me.”

Farida Fanyinka, A Levels at Loughborough College

A Level student and Student Ambassador Farida earnt B, B, C in Accounting, Business, and Economics. “I’m really pleased with how I did, I got into my first choice university, and I couldn’t be happier!” Farida said. Now going on to study Accounting and Finance at the University of Leicester, Farida reflected on her time at Loughborough College, sharing: “What I’ve really enjoyed is the community. The teachers are so supportive, and there are so many resources and services to make the most of.”

Lillie Ford, Performing and Production Arts at IGNITE 

Distinction student Lillie Ford, who studied a Level 3 in Performing and Production Arts at IGNITE in Melton Mowbray, said: “I’ve absolutely loved my time here! My favourite part has been the amazing teachers and the friends I’ve made – we’re like a family, and everyone is so supportive of each other. Now that I’ve completed my Level 3, I’m excited to be continuing my journey at IGNITE, where I’ll be starting my degree in September. I can’t wait!”

Tiya Mistry, Space Engineering at Loughborough College

Tiya achieved top grades in her Space Engineering course at Loughborough College, which comprises of two A Levels and a BTEC. She will now be going to the University of Sheffield to study Robotics and Mechatronics. 

Tiya said: “Space Engineering was the course that had everything I wanted to do, and I’d describe it as a fantastic experience, with lots of variety, challenges, and fun along the way. I got two A*s in my A Levels and I got Distinction* Distinction* in my BTEC so I feel a little overwhelmed but also really, really happy! I put in a lot of hard work during my time here, but the subjects were all things I genuinely enjoyed. The support systems at the college have also been amazing and have helped me feel confident about figuring out my next steps.”

Grace Tomlin, who celebrated getting a Merit in T Level Animal Management and Behaviour at Brooksby College today, is thrilled to be progressing on to Nottingham Trent University to study a degree in Veterinary Nursing. She said: “I've really enjoyed studying the T Level, especially the big practical element. I did my work experience at Twinlakes Park which was great. Now I get to take my next step towards my dream career, which is Veterinary Nursing.”

Amelie Tottey, Animal Management and Behaviour at Brooksby College

Amelie got a Merit in T Level Animal Management and Behaviour and will be continuing her studies at Brooksby, as she joins the Undergraduate programme for a degree in Animal Management. 

Her ultimate goal is to go into the training side of the industry and would love to work with dogs and/or horses in the future. She said: “I'm really excited to have achieved the grades to return to Brooksby for my degree next year. The teaching style has really suited me, and I love the small group sizes. My lecturers have been amazing - they have given me so much confidence in my abilities.”

Thathpaven Vethothayan, Engineering at Stephenson College

Level 3 Engineering student Thathpaven earnt a DDM in his first year of studies at the College. Preparing for his next steps, Thathpaven said: “I’m excited to be continuing my studies at Stephenson College, and as I go into my second year, I’m looking forward to learning more.”

Bea Andrews, A Levels at Loughborough College

A Level student Bea studied Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, and Physics. After taking part in the notoriously tricky University of Cambridge Chemistry Challenge, and making it to the selection round of the Chemistry Olympiad’s national team, Bea was delighted to earn a staggering four A*s. 

Now going on to study Chemistry at the University of Oxford, Bea said her success was down in part to the support of her teachers. Bea said: “The teachers here have been so good, they are always there to help. They supported me brilliantly during the challenging Chemistry Olympiad that I competed in. I’d recommend Loughborough College, definitely! There’s loads of extracurriculars to get involved in.”
