Loughborough College Group Awarded Platinum College of Excellence by Ragdale Hall Spa

Loughborough College Group has proudly received the ‘Platinum College of Excellence 2026’ award from Ragdale Hall Spa for their commitment and approach to preparing Beauty Therapy students for a successful future in the health and wellbeing industry. 

Taught at the organisation’s Loughborough and Stephenson College campuses, Beauty Therapy at Loughborough College Group is designed to develop the technical abilities and practical knowledge through hands-on learning and partnerships with internationally recognised sector leaders, including Ragdale Hall Spa.

The Platinum College of Excellence certification commends Loughborough College Group’s high standards of teaching and consistent collaboration with Ragdale Hall Spa to enhance their student’s employment opportunities beyond their training. Having held the accreditation for several years, the College is reviewed annually to meet Ragdale Hall Spa's criteria to maintain their Platinum status.

Hannah Williams, Curriculum Head of Hairdressing, Barbering, and Beauty Therapy at Loughborough College shared her pride in the renewed accreditation, stating: “We are thrilled to have received this certification yet again from Ragdale Hall Spa. 

“Working in partnership with such a renowned institution and local employer like Ragdale Hall is an integral part of our curriculum and many of our students have gone on to employment with the spa. This recognition is a testament to the fantastic work of both our staff and students across the organisation and we are extremely proud.”

Ragdale Hall Spa works with several colleges of the platinum status to inspire students to excel in careers within the beauty industry. These colleges will benefit from a range of opportunities for their students which will include a masterclass with an experienced spa therapist to build and perfect their skills, and work experience at the award-winning spa, which will give students a chance to have a hands-on introduction to the professional world of wellness and beauty. The Spa also offers opportunities for lecturers to develop their skills and enhance their knowledge via tutor enrichment events.
