Loughborough College Group Earns Prestigious Gold Accreditation from National Centre for Diversity

Loughborough College Group has been awarded the highly regarded Gold – Leaders in Diversity accreditation through the National Centre for Diversity (NCD) Investors in Diversity programme.
This significant achievement follows a comprehensive assessment of the Group’s equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) practices conducted earlier this year.
The recognition places the College Group as one of just three colleges nationwide currently holding this distinguished accreditation, which reflects a sustained, organisation-wide commitment to advancing inclusive practices and embedding meaningful cultural change.
The College Group encompasses four campuses - Loughborough College, Brooksby College, Stephenson College, and IGNITE - which have all contributed to this collective success through a shared dedication to EDI principles.
Central to the Group’s achievement is the adoption and integration of the NCD’s FREDIE (Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, and Engagement) values which have been embedded into all aspects of daily operations, including staff development and performance reviews to recruitment practices, communications, and policy decisions.
