Octopus Energy Supports Future Trades Professionals with Tool Donation to Stephenson College

Stephenson College has received a generous donation of tools and equipment from Octopus Energy, helping to support the training of the next generation of multi-trade professionals.
The donation includes essential tools and kit that will be used by students across construction and multi-trade programmes to enable a hands-on experience using industry-standard equipment as part of their practical training.
The tools will directly support students developing skills in areas such as Electrical Installation, Plumbing, and Construction, helping them to build confidence and job-ready skills as they prepare for careers in the built environment sector.
Dave Baldock, Construction Lecturer and Curriculum Quality Lead at Stephenson College said: “We are incredibly grateful to Octopus Energy for this generous donation. These tools will make a real difference to our students’ learning experience.
“By accessing industry-standard equipment, students can train with high-quality tools and prepare themselves for the demands of multi-trade roles. strengthens the link between education and industry.”
