Thursday 13th November 2025

Thirteen students from across Loughborough College Group’s elite sport department have been announced as part of the up and coming rugby sports stars selected to attend the England Rugby Football Union’s U18s development camps across both the women’s and men’s programmes earlier this month.
With the women’s camp held at Loughborough University and the men’s at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre in Berkshire, the players selected had the opportunity to work with coaches and senior players to develop their skills and focus on their abilities and teamwork.
James Peters, Men’s Rugby Head Coach at Loughborough College Group, said: “This is a fantastic achievement for our players. Their selection is a reflection of the hard work and commitment they show every day, both on and off the pitch.”
This recognition highlights the exceptional talent, dedication, and development opportunities fostered through the Loughborough College Group’s rugby pathway in partnership with elite-level programmes.
Brad Jones, Women’s Rugby Head Coach, added: “For ten of our learners to be involved with England U18s is an incredible milestone. It speaks volumes about the dedication of our players and the support within our rugby environment. We’re excited to see how they continue to develop at this level.”
