Level 2 Sport is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career in Sport and would like to develop their knowledge in this area. This course gives students the opportunity to gain a broad knowledge of the skills required for working within the Sports sector.

Brooksby has a £3.6million sports complex equipped with large sports hall, strength and conditioning suite, full-sized floodlit 3G pitch and sports science lab. Students benefit from learning in these excellent facilities from lecturers who are experts in the sector.

Participating in Sport
Anatomy and Physiology for Exercise
Introduction to Healthy Exercise and Nutrition
Sports Coaching
Psychology for Sports Performance
Planning and Running a Sports Event
Developing Sporting Skills and Tactical Awareness.
4 GCSEs at Grade 3 or above including English
Students who complete this course may wish to progress onto a Level 3 Sports programme, gain employment, or undertake an apprenticeship.
