As the holy month of Ramadan and the celebration Eid have come to an end, student, Zara Mohammed shares what observing Ramadan means to her.
"Ramadan is important to me because as a Muslim I want to get closer to God and my faith and Ramadan is the holy month where all Muslims come closer to Allah. And Ramadan helps me get rid of my bad habits it also helps me practise self-control and it cleanses all the sins I have done. During Ramadan, you fast, and while you are fasting you can't drink or eat until sunrise. You will wake up at 4-5 in the morning and eat and break your fast at sunrise so about 7-8. Ramadan is the holy month for Muslims"
