We are seeking a highly capable and proactive Executive Assistant to provide a range of comprehensive support to the Chief Executive, Principals and wider Executive Team.
This is a fast-paced and varied role that required professionalism, discretion, and excellent organisational skills. As an Executive Assistant, you will play a key part in managing complex calendars, coordinating events, drafting presentations and communications and supporting high profile cross-college projects such as enrolment, graduation and CPD days. This is an multi-faceted role which plays a huge part to support the wider organisation.
About the Role and Key Responsibilities:
Every day will bring new challenges and opportunities – from planning and attending senior meetings, crafting communications, and organising high-profile events, to leading cross-college projects and supporting merger-related activity. You’ll be working closely with senior leaders, be instrumental in influencing the progression of the college, and play a vital part in the College's continued success.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Provide high-level diary and inbox management for the Chief Executive, Principals and Executive Team.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, draft papers, and take accurate minutes.
- Organise travel, hospitality, and logistics for internal and external events.
- Draft speeches, presentations, internal communications, and official documentation.
- Lead and support cross-college projects and events, including enrolment, graduation, CPD days, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Contribute to college-wide priorities, including inspection readiness and merger planning.
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
- Act as a key liaison point with internal and external stakeholders, providing a high standard of service and support.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a motivated and efficient professional who can manage multiple priorities in a dynamic working environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Extensive experience in an Executive Assistant or equivalent role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage at all levels and manage stakeholders effectively.
- Strong IT and technological skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools.
- Strong command of written English, with proven ability to proofread and edit a wide range of official documents to a high standard.
- Proven organisational ability, with attention to detail and a solution-focused approach.
- Capacity to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage competing demands.
- Confidence in leading or supporting projects and event coordination.
