The Role

Starting in September 2025, Loughborough College is launching its new BSc (Hons) in Strength and Conditioning. The Higher Education Sport Department is actively recruiting for an additional lecturer to support the Course Leader and wider teaching team in the delivery of this exciting new degree. 

As part of our commitment to this new pathway, our brand-new strength and conditioning and rehab suite is due to open for the start of the academic year. 

The successful candidate will be able to deliver bespoke practical sessions utilising state-of-the-art facilities and technology support to ensure graduates are prepared to the highest level to work in industry or progress onto further study.

Whilst ensuring its staff have the capabilities to grow in experience, expertise and gain further accreditations, working alongside their students to develop interesting avenues for research and explorations of professional practice.

This role is a full-time, permanent position.

The role will commence on 1st August 2025.

The Applicant

You will have a commitment to student centred learning with teaching and curriculum design, underpinned by scholarly activity, research and/or experience as an applied practitioner.

The successful candidate will hold the minimum of a Masters degree, with either their masters or undergraduate degrees being within Strength and Conditioning. Ideally, they will have attained UKSCA accreditation or have the desire to undertake this process within 12 months of undertaking the rol

Important Information

To be eligible to apply for a Tier 2 visa, the role advertised will need to have an educational standard of at least A levels and the salary for the role has to be a minimum of £25,600 unless in a shortage area i.e. STEM or if you have a PhD relating to the role.
