An Appeal For Unwanted Sports Kit

Loughborough College has launched an appeal for unwanted sports kit and boots to support the KitAid and Boots for Africa charities.

We are looking for organisations that would like to participate in supporting either or both charities in order to help disadvantaged children.

To register your interest please complete the form below and select which charity you would like to be involved with. We will then contact you with more information.

Loughborough College has an ethos of giving back and is a founding member of the national Good for Me, Good for FE campaign which aims to generate millions of pounds in social value and donations.

KitAid sends unneeded sports kit and equipment to African charities. Set up by Derrick Williams MBE after he visited Tanzania on a WaterAid supporters trip back in 1998. Derrick was amazed by the response he received from the remote villages he visited which inspired him to provide kit and equipment to bare-footed children playing football. Boots for Africa is a charity that sends unwanted football boots to communities in Africa to support sport in developing countries. Founded by Sheffield FC, the charIty aims to deliver pre-loved sports boots and equipment to disadvantaged children and youths of Africa. Giving them to opportunity to enjoy their love of sport.
