Join Hugglescote Community Primary as a Teaching Assistant Apprentice. Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, help create a positive learning environment, follow school policies, build strong relationships, and grow through training, all while making a real difference in our vibrant, supportive school community.
- Supporting the class teacher in creating an effective learning environment for the children
- Working with individuals on a one-to-one basis and small groups of pupils
- To support groups of a range of abilities under the direction of the class teacher
- Working as part of a team
- Implementing school policies, e.g. behaviour, marking, safeguarding etc.
- Having high expectations of yourself, children and their learning
- Attending relevant training and professional development opportunities
- Building positive relationships with the children and colleagues within the school and community
Requirements and prospects
You will be employed to work with children full-time in a school as a member of staff, not a student. Any offer will be subject to a full DBS and Satisfactory References. Loughborough College reserves the right to withdraw this vacancy before the end date, following consultation with the employer.
