The Level 1 Diploma in Introduction to Health and Care in Early Years Settings is a one-year course that aims to develop your knowledge and awareness of health and social care in children's and young people's settings. It is aimed at learners who wish to develop an understanding of the sector and are hoping to progress onto a Level 2 qualification in Childcare and Early Years.

You will be taught using a range of methods to support and develop your understanding. All learners are required to apply for a DBS as a part of their work experience requirements for this course. This costs approximately £50.

GCSE English and Maths at grade 2 or above

Progression

Upon successful completion of this course, students may progress onto a Level 2 course in Early Years.
