This qualification equips students with the knowledge and understanding to progress into a job role in the construction industry. Students also have the option to go on to undertake a Level 3 qualification or progress onto an apprenticeship in their chosen trade.
Learners study in state of the art workshops that reflect what they'd find in the Construction industry, allowing them to be prepared for entering the industry once qualified. All lecturers are experts within their trades, bringing a wealth of skills and knowledge from industry into the classroom.

Preparing and Using Carpentry and Joinery Portable Power Tools
Marking Out Routine Joinery Products from Setting Out Details
Producing Setting Out Details for Routine Joinery Products
Manufacturing Standard Joinery Products
Second Fix Carpentry Operations
A relevant Level 1 qualification AND GCSE English and Maths at Grade 3 or above
Successful completion of this course allows students to progress into further learning at a higher level, or directly into an apprenticeship or employment within their trade.
