Course Content

Project methodology and administration

Continued professional development

The core component will be assessed by two externally set activities and an employer set project (occupational specialism).

Your choice of occupational specialism will allow you to develop the relevant skills in preparation for your career in the media, broadcast and production sector. The content covers topics specific to that aspect of the media, broadcast and production sector, as follows:

Content creation and production

Content development for different platforms

Production of content for different platforms

Creating and delivering content

Evaluation of plan and content

You will undertake work experience over an extended period to allow you to develop your skills in the industry.

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and Maths

Progression

Successful completion of this course will allow students to progress into a skilled career within the Creative Media industry, or onto further study such as univeristy.

Our dedicated team of tutors have a wealth of experience for you to learn from. In past years, our Creative Media Production students have shown their work at the prestigious Cannes International Film Festival, won top prizes at the Chevrolet Young Film Makers Awards - and one graduate even went on to be part of a Oscar and a Bafta winning films as a VFX Artist! Other Creative Media Production students have gone on to become freelance filmmakers, cinematographers, directors, producers, scriptwriters, graphic designers, sound designers, camera operatives, editors, visual effects artists and lecturers.
