Loughborough College has been crowned AoC Sport East Midlands regional champions in Cricket and Men’s Football for the second consecutive year.
They will join Women’s Rugby, Women’s Volleyball, Boccia, Pan Disability, Women’s Football, Badminton, X Country & Tennis at the Association of Colleges Sport National Championships in April 2022.
Danny Lee, Curriculum Manager for Sport FE at Loughborough College, said: “What a way to finish the year! It’s been an amazing effort from all of our teams in the regional competitions and we can’t wait to get stuck in at the national finals in April.”
Miguel Ribeiro, Head Coach of the men’s football team, said: “Competition in the regional football tournament is fierce so the team has done incredibly well to reach the national finals. We’ve got a great team spirit and some very talented players so I know we’ll do the College proud in April.”
