More than 2,000 students at Loughborough College have been praised for achieving fantastic exam results across three educational pathways.

Jo Maher, Principal and CEO at Loughborough College shared, “Our exceptional students have proven once again that they can achieve brilliant results with hard work and dedication throughout our A-Level, T-Level and vocational provisions.

“They have shown incredible passion for their subject areas in the past couple of years, and I hope they are as proud of themselves as we are to see their well-deserved success. We look forward to wishing them the best of luck in the future and supporting them in their next steps.”

Following the government’s introduction of T-Levels, the College celebrated its first student cohort completing the qualification this year, with a pass rate of 94% (3% above the national rate).

Kate Storr, who oversaw the first cohort of T-Level learners in Education and Early Years, was also excited to see so much learner success, adding, “Seeing our students succeed is what drives us as staff here at the College. Their stories will inspire and motivate others who have similar aspirations.”

T-Levels are a new technical-based qualification which have seen students benefit from hands-on experience, blending traditional learning with industry placements.

A-Level learners also received a 94% pass rate, with 56% of students achieving A*-C grades. Five subjects saw 100% of students pass, including English Language, Religious Studies, Film Studies, Media Studies, and Photography.

Learners marked their achievements with family and friends, celebrating their success in moving onto various pathways including university, full time employment and higher-level apprenticeships.
