The Loughborough College community has joined the nation in mourning the sad passing of His Royal Highness Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, at the age of 99.
Many of our students over the years have been empowered, learned new skills, built confidence and developed resilience as part of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards where were founded by Prince Philip and for which he has been an inspirational and committed champion of young people.
Our deepest condolence and thoughts are with Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Family at this sad time.
