The Beauty Therapy team at Loughborough College have been honoured with a prestigious Platinum College of Excellence Award from world-renowned hotel and spa Ragdale Hall.
As one of only six colleges across the country to receive the award, Loughborough College was praised as an outstanding provider and partner for the spa, which has won regional and national awards for excellence. Now part of an elite group of Further Education institutions to meet the strict criteria of training required by the Recruitment Team at Ragdale Hall, which can be found just half an hour away in Melton Mowbray, the College will be able to continue to provide the highly regarded teaching and training experience already on offer.
Faz Rajput, a member of the spa’s Recruitment Team was on site to present the award to the team. Reflecting on their achievement, Curriculum Manager for Hair and Beauty, Claire Springthorpe shared, “It is a massive honour to have received this award from such a prestigious spa in our local area in recognition of the fantastic work both our team and students do at College. We are all extremely proud of this achievement.”
The long-standing partnership between Loughborough College and Ragdale Hall offers learners opportunities throughout the year to receive information and advice about career progression, as well as hands-on experience from qualified beauty therapists through exciting and immersive workshops.
Previously learners from Beauty Therapy courses have gone on to undertake exclusive work experience with Ragdale Hall, allowing them the opportunity to launch their careers in a fascinating and constantly growing sector.
